The JAAL Foundation, under the leadership of its Director, Dr. Tolu Aderemi, has extended a helping hand to Adeola Atoke Omotosho, the daughter of Actress Jumoke George, a Nigerian recently rescued from human trafficking in Mali.
At a brief ceremony held at the Foundation’s Lagos office, Dr. Aderemi presented Deola with a deep freezer and a cash donation to aid her resettlement and economic independence.
Dr. Aderemi emphasised that the core mission of the JAAL Foundation is to advocate for good governance and to support vulnerable Nigerians, both at home and abroad.

He lauded Deola’s return as a powerful example of swift government intervention and humane policy, attributing her rescue to the prompt efforts of the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
He offered special appreciation to Dr. Abiola Adebayo and Miss Oyiza Yakubu, who played critical roles throughout the rescue process, commending their dedication, empathy, and unrelenting support.
Commending the federal government, Dr. Aderemi applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, and the entire NIDCOM team for strengthening the institution into a reliable force that continues to bring hope to Nigerians globally.
Turning to Deola, he congratulated her on a safe return and encouraged her to embrace her new beginning with optimism and determination.
He further advised Nigerian youth to uphold the values of hard work and civic engagement to steer clear of the dangers of human trafficking.
In a brief response, Adeola expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa and Dr. Aderemi for their kindness and support.
She described their intervention as life-saving and reaffirmed her commitment to starting afresh in Nigeria.
