Yoruba actress, Temitayo Adeyinka Adejumo, one of the wives of the late comic icon Moses Adejumo, popularly known as Baba Sala, has said she has no regrets marrying the veteran actor.
Speaking on Oyinmomo, a Yoruba-language personality programme on YouTube, Adejumo said she would still choose Baba Sala if given another chance.
“I don’t regret marrying Baba Sala. If I come back to this world, I will marry him again,” she said.
The actress revealed that her late husband did not permit her to act in films produced by others, citing a missed opportunity to feature in a movie by renowned filmmaker Ola Balogun.

According to her, Balogun had wanted her to play a love role alongside Afro-Juju musician Sir Shina Peters in a film titled Money Power, but Baba Sala declined the request.
“At the end of the day, the role went to Clarion Chukwura,” she explained.
She added that Baba Sala once told her he was protecting their marriage by limiting her exposure in the industry.
On the legacy of the late comedian, Adejumo disclosed that one of his children, a videographer, is currently involved in acting and inherited some of Baba Sala’s personal items used in his performances.
He is the one my late husband willed his acting glasses, wristwatch, Fila (cap), and tobacco pipe.
