The Rivers State Police Command has announced the appointment of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Agabe Blessing Kaborlo as its new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), following approval by the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu.
In a statement made available to the public, the Command said ASP Kaborlo, a native of Ogoni in Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State, brings a blend of academic excellence and professional experience to her new role.
She was commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force in 2023 after completing a five-year training programme at the Nigeria Police Academy, where she earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree. She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Rivers State University.
The new police spokesperson has further enhanced her professional capacity through specialised training, including a Combat Operations and Counter-Terrorism Course at the Police Mobile Force Training School in Ende Hills, Nasarawa State, and a Citizenship and Leadership Training Course at Shere Hills, Jos.
ASP Kaborlo has served in various capacities within the Force, including postings at the Divisional Police Station in Okporo, the Human Rights Section (DFA), and most recently as the Second-in-Command at the Police Public Relations Office of the Rivers State Command.
The Command described her as a disciplined and dedicated officer who has demonstrated commendable professionalism throughout her career.
