Governor Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has called on the residents of his state to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu second term bid in the 2027 presidential election.
Oyebani, who stated this at the Interfaith New Year Thanksgiving Service in Ado Ekiti, urged residents to continue praying for the success of Tinubu’s reforms, which, according to him, are already yielding positive results.
He said, “We gave thanks for His grace, peace, and progress over Ekiti, and prayed for continued stability, unity, and prosperity in the months ahead. I also called on our people to keep supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and to continue praying for the success of the ongoing reforms that are already yielding positive results.”
“As we approach the June governorship election, I reassured Ekiti people of our commitment to peace, decency and responsible conduct. Governance will not be disrupted, and our focus remains on delivering for the people”, he added.
He concluded, “I am grateful to Ekiti people for their prayers, support and cooperation. With God’s help, we will continue to build a peaceful and prosperous Ekiti for all.”
