They both agreed that collaboration is essential to the future of teaching in Nigeria.
As part of efforts to deepen reforms in the education sector, the Federal Government also unveiled the 2025–2027 Communication Strategy, designed to strengthen transparency, accountability, and public trust in education governance.
Speaking on the initiative, Permanent Secretary Abel O. Enitan, represented by Mrs. Obianiuju Anigbogu, described the new strategy as a milestone that institutionalises communication as a tool for effective governance.
Supported by PLANE and the UK International Development, the strategy aims to enhance stakeholder engagement, unify government messaging, and ensure that education policies and reforms are clearly communicated, understood, and accepted by Nigerians.
The event underscored the government’s renewed commitment to raising the status of teachers, modernising the classroom experience, and fostering a more transparent and inclusive education system.
