The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed that internet fraudsters, popularly known as Yahoo Yahoo in Nigeria, have established a training school for aspiring cybercriminals.
According to a statement from the commission, the training centre, known as the “Yahoo Training School” (also called Hustle Kingdom, HK), is located in Benin City.
Thirty suspects were recently arrested at the facility by operatives of the 4 Brigade, Nigerian Army, and were handed over to the EFCC on Monday, April 28, 2025, for further investigation.

The commission has since commenced a detailed investigation into the activities of the 30 suspected internet fraudsters.
At the time of the arrest, the school had the full trappings of a conventional computer training centre, including desktop computers, workstations, and other IT accessories. A section of the facility was also found stocked with various fetish items.
Items recovered from the suspects include a Toyota Corolla car, mobile phones, laptops, and MP3 devices.
The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
