The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has said that it has recovered funds that were rightfully due to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Though, the anti-graft agency did not reveal where it recovered the funds from, it stated that the funds have been transformed into the Renewed Hope Multipurpose Training Centre in Otuokpoti, Bayelsa State, a project that empowers the people, especially the youth.
According to a short statement from the agency, “This is what accountability looks like”, stressing that the agency would continue to fight corruption, not just for justice, but for transformation.
