The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has ordered the arrest of its former staff, Olakunle Alex Folarin, popularly known as Lege Miami on social media platforms.
Lege Miami has claimed to be a friend of Seyi Tinubi, the son of President Bola Ahmed Ahmed Tinubu and in few occasion, they have been seeing together in social gathering.
In the past few months, Lege Miami has been campaigning for the the second term of the President Tinubu.
According to the Commission, Folarin, a former staff of the anti-graft agency attached to its Ibadan Zonal Directorate, was alleged to have been recently dismissed from the Commission for certificate forgery.
A statement from the commission stated, “The Executive Chairman of the EFCC, Mr. Ola Olukoyede has ordered his arrest for being in possession of some Commission’s properties, including an Identity Card, which he should have handed over upon being dismissed from the EFCC. The public is advised against associating Folarin’s post-dismissal conduct with the EFCC.”
The commission also condemned the matchmaking business of Lege Miami stating that EFCC, “condemned in the strongest terms, the involvement of one of its former staff, Olakunle Alex Folarin in a matchmaking programme running on Lege Miami social media platforms”
