The Chairman Board of Management, University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Alhaji Shetimma Ibrahim Bako Bagudu, who was confirmed positive of coronavirus about three weeks ago, has now been tested negative.
The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the hospital, Professor Jesse Otegbayo revealed this on Sunday, April 19, 2020.
Otegbayo said, “I am pleased to announce that after three weeks of successful management, the Chairman Board of Management, UCH, Ibadan, Alhaji Shetimma Ibrahim Bako Bagudu has tested Negative for the COVID-19 Virus in two repeat tests that were carried out”.
He concluded, “While I commend the gallant efforts of our medical and non-medical pesonnel in this period, I admonish us all to adhere to the WHO and NCDC COVID-19 prevention, control and management guidelines”.
