Members of the Apostolic Faith Church from across the West and Central African region today converged on the Faith City Camp Ground in Igbesa, Ogun State, to begin the 2025 Camp Meeting of the West and Central Africa (WECA) District.
The annual spiritual gathering, scheduled to run from Sunday, August 10 to Sunday, August 24, 2025, follows the Ministers and Workers Meeting held on Friday, August 8.
Preaching on the theme “LIBERATION… thou art loosed” in a sermon titled “Loose! Loose!! Loose!!!”, the WECA District Superintendent, Rev. Isaac Adigun, drew from Luke 13:12-13 to assure worshippers that Jesus sees them, understands their needs, and is ready to deliver them from every form of bondage.
“Whatever is tying you, whatever is binding you, however thick and terrible that chain is—in the name of Jesus, through the power in the blood of Jesus—that chain is shattered,” he prayed. “May Jesus loose you.”

Rev. Adigun preaching
Rev. Adigun emphasised that sin is the primary bondage, and once it is broken, every other form of captivity will fall away. He urged participants to embrace the message of the meeting and experience true freedom.
