The District Superintendent (DS) of The Apostolic Faith, West and Central Africa (WECA), Rev. Isaac Adigun, has announced the ordination of two new members into the church’s Board of Trustees.
Speaking during the at the concluded 2025, Camp Meeting at Faith City, Ketu Adie-Owe Road, Off Atan Agbara, Igbesa, Ogun State, Rev. Adigun explained that the ordination became necessary following the retirement and passing of two former members, Brother J. K. Ajayi and Brother Edet Bassey, which created vacancies on the board.

He noted that the church had been seeking divine guidance on the appointments.
“We have been praying about this and many times when I mentioned it, I asked you too to join us in prayers. God has answered your prayers,” Rev. Adigun said.
The Superintendent disclosed that the process was never intended to be delayed but had to align with God’s timing.

He further revealed that the Board of Trustees, after prayerful deliberation, presented their recommendation to the church’s global leadership.
The Superintendent General, Rev Olusola Adesope, and the Director for African Work, Brother John Musgrave, who was present at the service, gave their blessings to the appointments.
The two new board members are Rev William Uzua Ekong and Rev Joseph Oba Fatoba, who were officially ordained and prayed for during the Camp Meeting.
Rev. Adigun described the appointments as a move to strengthen the leadership structure of the church, ensuring continuity and effective stewardship.
