The Idi Ape Zonal Headquarters of The Apostolic Faith Church in Ibadan under the leadership of Pastor Michael Olalere held its maiden edition of the Christmas Concert called “Evening of Music”, on Sunday, December 22, 220024.
In attendance was the church Area Overseer, Rev Funso Shobowale, who was accompanied by his wife, Ambassador Joseph Owolabi, Pastor Amos Oduola of the Holy Church and Power Church, Mrs Adeogun, pastors and ministers of the church from other branches.
The carol was spiced by a short play that centred on why everybody must do everything humanly and spiritually possible to make heaven.
Some of the songs performed to the thrill of the audience are Hark! The Herald Angel sing, Gloria in Excelsis, Jesus joy of Man’s desiring, Deck the Hall, The drummer boy, Calypso Carol, and E ho fun ayo.
Others are Hymns of joy, O Christmas tree, For unto us, Iyanu yo sele, Mary boy child, E je ka yo, and I dream I searched heaven for you.
