In his remarks, Dauda assured members that the new executive would serve with integrity, passion, and dedication. He promised to upgrade the department, which has suffered neglect for some time, empower members, and position AMACOS’ 94 as a model of excellence.
“I’m humbled and honoured to be elected your new president of AMACOS’94. I’m grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me, as my co-executives and I promised to serve with integrity, passion, and dedication. Together, we’ll drive growth, unity, and success for our association. … Thank you for this opportunity. Let’s work together to make our vision a reality.”
Earlier, Dr. Ladi Arowa, the pioneer and immediate past president, said his administration built a sustainable, impactful association that would serve as a model within the wider Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) alumni network.

Arowa, Managing Director of Adgenda Media Ltd., said, “This vision was anchored on collaboration, transparency, and a collective determination to improve the welfare of our members while laying a solid institutional foundation for future leadership. I am proud to say that through the unwavering support of our members and the dedication of our executive team, we made significant strides in actualising this vision.”
He added, “One of the most defining moments of our tenure was the successful hosting of the Teachers’ Appreciation Day, an event that remains a landmark achievement in our history. This initiative was not only a celebration of our educators but also a recognition of the enduring impact they have had on our lives. It was particularly poignant that some of our teachers who were so honoured have since passed on. We continue to pray for the repose of their souls. That event reinforced our identity as a set that values gratitude, legacy, and human connections.”
The advertising guru highlighted some of the achievements of his administration, including deliberate steps to formalise and legitimise the association’s operations.
“We successfully developed a draft constitution to guide the association’s governance and activities, ensuring continuity and clarity in the leadership process. In addition, we achieved corporate registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), thereby giving the association legal recognition and credibility, complementing this was the opening and effective management of a dedicated bank account, which enhanced financial transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency”, he added.
