A dedicated Department of Safe School Initiative will coordinate national policy, monitoring, and collaboration, with NSCDC serving as the lead operational agency.
NSCDC reports that over 60,000 of 81,000 schools lack adequate security infrastructure, underscoring the urgency of this intervention.
