Ahead 2027 gubernatorial election, the former Minister of Communication, Barrister Adebayo Shittu, has continued to show interest in becoming the next governor in Oyo State.
In an e-postal circulating on social media, Adebayo, who is from the Oke-Ogun Area of the state, shared the summary of his political ideology and projects intended to execute if elected to succeed Governor Seyi Makinde in 2027.
The poster, which reads Barr. (Dr) Abdurraheem Adebayo Shittu, for the governor of Oyo State in the 2027 election, declared a roadmap for a better future in the state.
He pledged free, qualitative and functional education, comprehensive health and medical reforms, full and gainful employment for all, integrated agricultural and rural development, citizens’ distress relief programme, integrated infrastructural development, and industrial and ICT transformation of Oyo State.
The aspiring governor described himself as a core progressive, dynamic public servant, youth-friendly elder, stateman, most incorruptible politician, tested, trusted, humble, and caring humanist.
